WINGS

WINGS describes what we want our students to aspire to do, as they move forward in their learning journey.  "WINGS" stands for “Wonder, Innovate, Nurture, Grow, Succeed” and will be an integral part of our new school philosophy.

The concept of "WINGS" integrates our values program and our knowledge of 21st Century skills, key competencies, teaching and learning, inquiry and our heavy focus on self management.

All students at The Gardens School are presented with their "WINGS" badge, which is worn on their uniform.  When new children commence school with us they will be introduced at a whole school assembly and they will be presented with their "WINGS" badge.  This badge will symbolise they are ready to start their learning journey with us and that they have a willingness to be part of The Gardens School family. 

Alongside WINGS we also have 10 key values which we focus on as a school.  We believe these "Life Values" are those commonly held by most people.  To find out more about our values, please click HERE.
